Chris Blackwell

Chris is the CEO of Purpose Led Performance; a consultancy that brings purpose to business by working with leaders and leadership teams.
Chris disagrees with the prevalent view that business is a zero-sum game and that there is a conflict between being profit focused and purpose focused!
Chris believes that purpose is THE vital ingredient to achieve high performance and sustained growth.
Chris has worked with over 100 leaders and numerous leadership teams to support them to become high-performing and specialises in working with Scale Ups and fast-growth companies.
Prior to founding Purpose Led Performance Chris worked as a CEO and senior Executive and helped grow Ingeus UK from £4m > £120m, and MAXIMUS UK from £25m > £170m.
Chris is a Non-Executive Director and the Scale Up lead for Birmingham Tech, a Community Interest Company that promotes the Tech sector in the West Midlands.
He is the Co-Founder of the Purpose Collective, an international network of business leaders that wants to create a buzz about making work meaningful.
Chris is a Fellow at the RSA (The Royal Society of For Arts, Manufactures and Commerce)
Kim O’Reilly-Blackwell

Kim is an experienced operations and people manager, having led teams through periods of change and growth, particularly in the charitable sector.
Kim worked most recently for Business in the Community (the oldest and largest business-led membership organisation dedicated to responsible business) as Head of Operations for their HRH Prince of Wales-founded Mosaic Programme (now part The Princes Trust) - a programme which tripled in size in four years, reaching over 15,000 young people.
She also worked for five years in the private sector (Ingeus Ltd) where she played an instrumental role in the growth of the organisation as a part of the business development team.
Alastair James

Alastair spent twenty years at Deloitte, 13 of those as a Partner in their consulting practice.
He set up and led Deloitte's Operational Excellence practice, which he grew to be a team of 215; the largest consultancy team within Deloitte.
In 2013, Alastair was headhunted by G4S to establish and lead a Group wide Risk function.

Alastair has worked with us since 2019 and is now our Head of Leadership.
With his skills and experience he supports our business leaders with one-to-one coaching; team coaching, training and support, and strategy development.
He helps our businesses get the very best performance out of their people – by delivering a people-first approach.
He developed our model for Leadership with Purpose, identifying the four key areas on which a leader should focus and the six essential qualities that should define how they behave whilst doing so. These are all reflected in our Purposeful Leader Quiz for business leaders.
Sarah Greenaway

Sarah has an extensive background in senior brand marketing roles in UK and international retail, and with blue chip FMCG brands.
A track history in commercial roles means she understands how to make responsible business part of a competitive strategy and how to manage sustainability so that it becomes embedded into business DNA for long term success.
She’s driven by a personal commitment to protect nature, and a professional one to prove that doing ‘business for good’ is the business model for long term success.

Sarah is our ESG and sustainability, purpose and strategy expert.
She has worked with us on long-term projects with clients, supporting them to identify, articulate and execute widescale ESG plans.
She is a key partner in our delivery of Uncover, Articulate and Activate your purpose service, working in depth most recently with Kagool, a fast growing Enterprise IT delivery expert - now working all over the world.
Debbie Martin

Debbie spent the early part of her career as a management consultant, working on change projects including organisation re-design, process re-design and change communications for clients such as the V&A, Haringey Council and Bank of America.
After an internal secondment where Debbie managed the operational HR activities for the management consultancy firm as it grew from 50 to 75 employees, Debbie went on to use her hands-on experience to work with clients such as A&O redesigning their HR process to make them more efficient and value-adding for the business.
Debbie spent the subsequent 7 years in in-house roles delivering strategic projects at A&O and most recently as the Chief Happiness Officer(CHO) for growing tech start-up AND Digital. As CHO Debbie was accountable for the Values, Culture and Employee Engagement as AND Digital grew from 0 to 500 people in 5 years. Debbie designed and embedded the values of Wonder, Share & Delight across the employee experience at AND - the values still hold strong today for a workforce of over 2000 employees.
The culture too became a differentiator for talent and clients alike, winning AND accolades such as 3rd Best Company to work for in 2022. Initially designing her own employee engagement tool which was built in-house, Debbie later managed the implementation of CultureAmp - a tool she continues to recommend today.
In 2017 Debbie completed an MSc in Positive Psychology to add scientific rigour to the work she was doing.
Now as an independent consultant, Debbie remains passionate about enabling people to flourish at work whether through enhancing employee experience, articulating and activating values, identifying and engaging Strengths or providing a People lens for Leadership teams. Debbie brings both rigour and compassion to her clients and their teams.

Nicky, a change management specialist with over 20 years operations and ‘big 4’ consulting experience, helps businesses implement change that delivers tangible results.
It is her passion. So, she founded The Spiral Hub – on a mission to change the way businesses do change.
Nicky works with business leaders and leadership teams through a combination of consultancy, coaching and training to empower them with the skills and confidence to successfully drive and implement change and grow their businesses.
Her experience spans the public and private sector, SMEs to large corporates across the UK, Europe, the USA, and the Middle East.

Glenn has a background in design and runs his own design and strategy consultancy.
He is also is the Chair of a Charity (YMCA North Staffordshire), had a tenure as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Keele University and is a Member of a Multi-Academy Trust Board. Glenn is also a qualified and practicing Executive Coach.
Glenn has done brand and communications strategy, proposition development and employee engagement projects with organisations including Aecom, AmeyMouchel, Balfour Beatty, Capita, Costain, Galliford Try, IKEA, Keepmoat, npower, Tarmac, the Highways Agency and the Defence Infrastructure Organisation and the Design Council.

He designs and delivers training, works one-to-one with leaders and helps teams and organisations to identify their values and behaviours and live by them.

Hilary is an MCIPD qualified organisational design, development, change, and leadership specialist with more than ten years’ experience leading projects and teams to deliver successful organisational change, and developing leadership teams to deliver sustainable success.
Hilary has previously held senior OD and Change leadership roles, as well as working as an internal consultant.
She now has her own practice specialising in working with leaders and leadership teams to drive impactful change; and developing the right mindsets, competencies, and practices to enable them to deliver their strategy.
Hilary has worked with a range of organisations in the UK and internationally in both the private and public sectors. She holds a Masters in Personnel and Development, and is a qualified and experienced executive coach.

Clare is passionate about creating simplicity in an intricate world. She focuses on cutting through complexity and internal misunderstandings to find and implement viable solutions that work for everyone. Working collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams she helps organisations to develop solutions that are efficient, pragmatic and impactful.
Clare’s projects vary significantly with recent engagements including working with a global business to further develop its data security practice, with a psychotherapy and holistic practice to develop a new multi-disciplinary wellbeing programme and with a London University to establish their commercial arm.
Clare has fifteen years' experience in senior leadership roles in the public, private and third sectors.
She has led large-scale projects spanning operations, service design, programme mobilisation, compliance, and IT systems.
She now runs her own consultancy practice specialising in transformation and mobilisation projects in small to medium employers looking for an innovative, personal and collaborative solution.

Sarah Rozenthuler

Sarah’s experience and knowledge about team coaching is world-class.
As a chartered psychologist, leadership consultant and dialogue coach, she has over 15 years international experience consulting to many different organisations – private, public and not-for-profit – including Associated British Foods, BP, Choice Support, Discovery, and Standard Chartered Bank.
Sarah is also the author of two books: How to Have Meaningful Conversations (Watkins, 2019) and Powered by Purpose: Energise Your People to Do Great Work with a foreword by Paul Polman and an epilogue by Dr Victoria Hurth. -
In June 2020 amidst the challenges and uncertainties of COVID19, the Purpose Collective was born.
At a time when a lot of on-line communities and events emerged – fulfilling a real need for contact, conversation and community – Chris met Sarah Rozenthuler, and Alberto Gonzalez Otero on LinkedIn.
United by a shared passion for purpose, they planned to do three events. That turned into over 50 events with a range of inspirational speakers, and over 2.5 years of teamwork.
Feeling energised, inspired, and loving working together as a team, Chris invited Sarah to help us meet our Purpose as our champion of Executive Team Coaching. -
We realised that our businesses want to engage and align their leadership teams to become high performing.

Alberto brings Ikigai & Purpose To Business. He believes in Purpose as the driving force for positive change for leaders, teams and organisations.
After selling encyclopedias door to door, Alberto spent almost 20 years in sales and sales leadership roles.
He worked as Head of Sales, Director of Customer Success and Head of Customer Experience at start-up and scale-up companies, building, developing and leading diverse teams across different countries and continents, creating company culture, designing strategies, implementing technology and processes.
He knows what it takes to be a good leader and build a successful and high-performing team even under the most high-pressure and challenging situations.
